Your Diversity Facilitators!

Diversity Facilitators (DF’s) are campus-wide liaisons between the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the entire undergraduate population responsible for promoting campus-wide respect and unity. Diversity facilitating is a year-Long commitment. Two to three DF’s are assigned to each colleges, and Angelina Hall and Taylor Montgomery are the DF’s responsible for Brown. Their job is to monitor all Brown affairs related to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. They give trainings to the O-Week advisors during Advisor Training on how to handle diversity-related issues. They also create and present a diversity and allyship session for the new students during O-Week. Year-long, the Diversity Facilitators serve as a resource for all members of their designated college. If any individual of that college experiences an issue related to any aspect of their identity, the Diversity Facilitators are who they should reach out to in order to have that issue resolved/addressed. The DF’s also host weekly Dialogues on Diversity in Miner Lounge in the RMC every Friday at 12, and everyone is welcome to attend!
